Building Construction Technology
One of DBTI’s founding departments, and the one responsible for much of the Institute’s own campus. Students train in modern construction methods — masonry, concrete work, and building practice to industry standard.

Requirements & Eligibility:
- Applicants must have sat for and obtained results in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E.) for the standard three-year certificate pathway.
- Short-term proficiency training pathway is available on selected trades (e.g. Welding & Fabrication, Computer Technology) for young people and existing practitioners.
- Both hostel (boarding) and day admission options are available.
- Applicants must demonstrate good character and conduct, in keeping with the Institute’s Christian, Salesian values.
